The growth of the Ovens and King Football Netball League has continued with long time supporter Pinkerton Security signing up as Naming Rights sponsor of the Reserves Football Competition.
Having been a partner of the league for a number of years, Pinkerton Security has agreed to increase its support by officially putting its company name behind the reserves competition.
At this stage the deal is only for the 2016 season, however, the OKFNL is confident Pinkerton Security will remain a supporter of the league and in particularly the reserves competition for years to come.
Having committed to its new deal, the reserve grade competition will now be known as the Pinkerton Security Reserves Cup and the MVP award as voted by the coaches will be known as the Pinkerton Security Player of the Year.
OKFNL general manager Jeremy Wilson said the league was lucky to have such a strong local company supporting it for so many years.
"Pinkerton Security is professional company and the people who work there are terrific supporters of our local football and netball league," he said.
"They have been a partner of the OKFNL for such a long time now and its great to see them become the official sponsor of the reserves football competition.
"Hopefully this will give the reserves competition more exposure and we would like to see all our players getting behind Pinkerton Security when they get the chance."
