GLENROWAN has pulled off an Anzac Day coup with full forward Brendan Fevola set to play for the Kelly Tigers in their blockbuster round four clash with Milawa.
Tigers president Jason McPhail and co-coaches Nigel and Matt Robinson met up with Fevola on Sunday following the former Carlton and Brisbane star’s best on ground display for Yarrawonga, later confirming the arrangement.
“Fev will play the Anzac Day match as a one-off game for us,” Nigel Robinson said.
“He’s a drawcard, and we saw it as an opportunity to get more people through the gate.
“Not just to see Fev play – we want people to come down and see two of the best sides in the O&K play a great game.
“There is a strong rivalry there between Glenrowan and Milawa, and they always give us a great contest.
“So it’s a chance for everyone to come and see one of the best forwards around as well as a great game of O&K footy.”
