A DOMINANT second half saw King Valley reserves easily stretch their winning streak to 21 straight games on the weekend, belting Whorouly by 76 points.
The Roos, led by strong performances from Nick Lee, Tim Watson and Jesse-Lee Cooper, suffocated the Lions early, keeping the home team to one goal in the first half.
But it was after the long break that King Valley got its offensive game going, piling on an efficient 11.2 to 3.2 to run away with the game.
Jeff Coles, Jarrod Branson and Jamie Spencer also starred for the Roos, while Chris Buckland and Jeremy Ashton were Whorouly’s best.
Over at Bonnie Doon, the Bombers remain unbeaten on their home track after scraping in for a draw against Glenrowan.
The Tigers kicked two unanswered goals in the opening term to establish a 13-point buffer, which they maintained over the next two quarters thanks to the efforts of Brian Morton, Kane Lennane and Michael Barnard.
