BRIGHT will head into tomorrow’s home game against fierce rival Whorouly knowing nothing less than a four-quarter performance will be acceptable.
The Mountain Men are currently engaged in a three-way battle with Moyhu and King Valley for the position they currently occupy – sixth spot on the ladder.
With the Roos and Hoppers facing off at Whitfield tomorrow, Bright needs to defeat Whorouly in order to stay in the six this week.
Given the Mountain Men face a tougher run home than both King Valley and Moyhu, staying one step ahead is crucial.
Bright faces three of the league’s top four in Bonnie Doon, Glenrowan and Milawa over the final five rounds, with the other two games against the Roos and Hoppers.
It makes for an exciting end to the season for all three clubs.
