AFTER a strong performance against Milawa last weekend, Tarrawingee will be looking to carry its momentum through to tomorrow’s preliminary final against Bonnie Doon.
Jamie Bell, Sam Neave and Jordan Solimo were sensational for the Bulldogs, who dominated the first half against the Demons, then were forced to dig deep to hold on after losing two pivotal players to head knocks.
Coach Trevor Edwards said the efforts of Bell, Neave and Solimo were crucial in such a big game.
“It was definitely one of the better games I’ve seen Jimbo (Bell) play,” Edwards said.
“His marking was just terrific – that’s the role that we wanted him to play, and we managed him through the year to try to ensure that he would be playing his best football now.
