Strong Squad

ONE of the strongest Ovens and King open age football squads of the past five years was announced yesterday ahead of the May 19 clash with the Hume League.

With an initial 33-man squad still to be broken down to a playing 22, O&K interleague co-coach Joel Fisher said such a strong list was a blessing.

Of the 33 chosen in the squad, Milawa (eight) and Tarrawingee (five) are the best represented teams, Bright is next with four initial squad members, with Glenrowan, King Valley, Greta and Benalla featuring three players each. (READ MORE)
