What a miserable day at the football/netball. We can only improve on all results.
The U14's started the day off with a never say die attitude. Well done to the boys for never giving up. You can all hold your heads high. Your perseverance is wonderful. Keep going to training and learn plenty about improving your skills and getting stronger. Keep encouraging one another and you never know what will happen. Enjoy yourselves and rewards will come your way.
The U17's went into their game very short after a few late withdrawals. Thanks very much to all the U/14's that stepped up after their own game to help out. Don't worry about the score line as there were some great passages of play. Keep your heads up and keep supporting one another.
The Magoos just got a team on the oval. It would be amazing what would happen if you all got to training. Let's get behind the coaches and put some hard yards in. You weren't far away from a win on Saturday with a little bit more fitness things will go your way. Congratulations to Kyle Diwell who played his 50th Reserves game for the club and picked up best on for his efforts.
Our seniors went down for their second match. It was a hard fought contest from go to whoa. Keep going at it boys and a win isn't far away.
We hope all supporters will go to the clubrooms after the game for a quiet refreshment and to hear our weekly awards. We have a few social functions coming up so check out the website - www.tocumwalfc.vcfl.com.au. Our website is full of information giving us the weekly awards, weekender write up and plenty of other information.
We welcome Deniliquin to our oval today. Hopefully we can come away with a few more wins this week.
