CLUB HISTORY
16TH November 1993
A group of parents met in the lower common room at St Simon's Catholic Primary School to discuss the formation of a new junior football club as a real alternative to the current offering.
The group formed a committee and appointed the following executive office bearers:

The committee passed the following resolutions:
·That the club be known as The St Simon's Community Football Club
·The club make formal application to the Knox Junior Football Association (KJFA) to join in season 1994

The club makes formal application to join KJFA for season 1994.
23rd November 1993
Second committee meeting of the club at which the following resolutions were passed:
·The clubs home would be Stud Park Reserve
·North Melbourne jumpers would be worn
13th December 1993
Third committee meeting at which the following matters were discussed:
·Clubs attendance at the 1993 AGM of the KJFA to be held on 14th December 1993 and application to join
·Development of club logo (boxing kangaroo)
·Insurance
·Incorporation

Club accepted into the KJFA at the 1993 AGM

Incorporation of The St Simon's Community Football Club.
Season 1994
The club fields two sides in the KJFA Under 10 and Under 12. Fifty players. No facilities at the ground used the Community Centre Tennis Pavilion as club rooms. Use of toilets in Rowville Primary School about 200m away.
Season 1995
Teams extended to four sides Under 9, 10, 11 & 12. 85 players. Temporary builders sheds hired and installed on site for use as clubrooms. Training lights using portable generator.
Season 1996
Application approved by Council to build pavilion. Five sides two Under 9, 10, 11, 12. 125 players.
Season 1997
Pavilion completed for commencement of season. Training lights installed courtesy of Start program. 7 sides - 2 Under 9, 10 & 11's and 1 Under 12 = 150 players. Both Under 11 sides make finals for the first time in the Club's history. Club wins first premiership flag Under 11 White side coached by Greg Carland.
Season 1998
Club enrolments at an all time high - 9 sides 2 Under 9's, 10's, 11's & 12's and 1 Under 13. 175 players.
Season 1999
Merging of KJFA and EDFL into EFL. St Simons remains stand alone junior club. Second ground secured at Lysterfield. 11 sides - Two U9's, U10's, U11's, U12's, U13's and 1 Under 14. 275 players.
Season 2000
Thirteen sides. Two U9,'s-U14's and 1 Under 15.
Season 2001
Club searches for new ground.
Season 2002
Additional side in Under 16A Division
Season 2003
Liberty Avenue Pavilion opened.
Under 13A Division premiers.
Season 2004
St Simons coterie formed.
