Official Match Report
A positive start to 2010 for the Panthers who despite conceding the first goal of the match, had the contest in hand thereafter, with the final margin reduced to 30 points on the back of some late conversions by the Roos. It was game number 100 for Panther onballer/forward Aaron Rymer another product of the Railways junior system who have really set their mark at league level for the red and blacks, while at the opposite end of their careers Josh Brown, Alek Oliver, David Whait and Marcus Whait all had solid contributions, and exciting recruit Mitch Gillam finding plenty of footy. The Roos also had plenty of youth with five making debuts including Matt Bogensperger, Travis Black, Matt Boath, Lloyd Maher & Haydn Maher while Jay Leeder looks very likely with intentions to play many games in 2010, while David Clark and Dale Beeson are never strangers from being in the Roos best players.
