Official Match Report
Some rare form of old including some party tricks by Railways forward Michael Towns, helped the Panthers have a convincing win over the Roos in their mothers day derby. Brodie Peterson was again very good across half forward, while Shane Properjohn was the best Panther on the ground with a good solid troupe of teammates contributing. The Roos had their moments and will rue some disposal errors and did look dangerous early in the third quarter led by Jay Leeder who despite the margin and the fact he was on the losing side, could very well collect the five Mitchell Medal votes.
