Official Match Report
Mines broke through for their first victory of the season over Boulder to claim the McGregor-Kennedy Cup. Boulder were missing key players in Julian Jacobs and Clinton Rudd who were representing WA at the Country Football Championships, the competition is taking notice of the Diorites who have improved as the season progresses as they strive for four premierships in a row. Their score of 18.1 is amazing and such efficiency is very rare at this level, and no doubt this went a long way to securing the 43 point victory. Boulder have now lost two games in a row for the first time this season against Railways and now Mines who are clipping at the heels of the trendsetter of 2010.
