Led out by their courageous captain for the day Corey, the Jackers avenged their loss in last year’s grand final by accounting for East Brighton Vampires in a tough but fair encounter that was once again well umpired. It was a terrific team effort from the boys but special mention must be made of the defence which had to be on its mettle against a very good team.
Thanks to East Brighton for a providing a hard contest with no quarter asked and all of their players contributing. The boys of both teams enjoyed the game and that is what junior football should be all about.
