We were taken out of our comfort zone travelling 40 minutes from home to Dingley where we were confronted with one of the better performed teams who kicked with a strong breeze and established a two goal lead in the first quarter. In the second quarter we kicked two goals from a number of opportunities to go into half time even. Despite defending strongly in the third quarter we gave them a three goal start at three quarter time. Not for the first time this year we stormed home and despite again having a number of opportunities we could not just hit the front. We won the contested ball battle, were disciplined all day and won more positions then the opposition on the day. Each and every boy played their role. Best players included Monty who not only shut down the oppositions best forward but got plenty of the ball himself; Jack who put his head over the ball and was rewarded with a number of free kicks and a late goal; Charlie who took a number of marks; both Fergs who both got lots the ball and Will B who continued his devastating form off a half forward flank. Another great effort from the boys.
