A big contrast from Round 1. This week the boys faced a very fast and skilful Murrumbeena side. After letting them get off to a flying start with the first 4 goals of the match the boys matched them goal for goal through a more committed effort in the second quarter & third quarters led by some great individual efforts from Joe, Sam, Charlie, Monty & Tom C who tackled & tried hard all day. Unfortunately many of our players found it hard to get into the game and we could not sustain the tackling, skill & pressure from the Murrumbeena boys who had too many match winners and took away a solid victory.
