Terrific start to the season.
The Knights were in blistering form led by Bailey Smith, Al Richards & Fraser Morrisby as the key stand outs for the day. Fraser led brilliantly all day to create a target for the mid fielders & forward line.
With the Knights pressure & intensity for the ball stronger than their opponents, it was a joy to see the team enjoy their footy & play as a team.
David Djukic enjoyed his first game of club football by turning out a spectacular performance & had the coaches scratching their head asking where David had been all these years.
Jack Potter was his usual lethal best, running hard all day & turning in another solid performance for then team.
Goal kickers were plentiful with Djukic, Morrisby, Richards, Hopkins, Sopikiotis, Wainwright & Wyer all putting scores on the board.
Player award this week went to Fraser Morrisby for his outstanding leadership in full forward.
