Why did you start playing AFL?
I was on my way to dancing lessons when I was 7 and my brother was going to footy training. I had a tantrum about wanting to play football. Mum let me go to footy, on the condition that I have to stay with football and can’t go back to dancing.

I’ve always had a massive passion for AFL, growing up in a Collingwood obsessed household it was hard to avoid AFL!. I started playing AFL in 2002 when my school started up a girls team, I absolutely loved it and haven’t stopped!

Why did you start playing AFL? Was selected in a School AFL academy and from there was told that I should play footy outside of school. I also loved playing within a team and wanted to learn a new sport other than touch.
