MILAWA has claimed the Ovens and King netball minor premiership after brushing aside Tatong by 52 goals at Milawa on Saturday.
With Greta sneaking past Whorouly by just two goals, Milawa's thumping victory saw them move 3.6 per cent ahead of the Lions to secure top spot after the 18 regular season rounds.
From the very start the Demons were on song with Lia Williamson dominating in defence while Kyra Hunt also provided plenty of drive into attack.
An eight-goal lead at the first change was more than doubled in the second term as Emily Canny (40 goals) and Jami Hunt (32) hit form in the circle.
But the most impressive thing in the Demons' victory was the second half shut out where Tatong managed just six goals.
The Demons banged on 25 goals to two in the third quarter and finished off with a 14-4 final term.
AS previously stated, Greta kept its unbeaten record in tact on Saturday when it came from behind to defeat Whorouly in a two-goal thriller.
Things were close from the outset with scores level at quarter time before the Blues edged ahead by two at the main change.
But a hard fought third quarter saw Whorouly hit top form and grab a one-goal lead at the final change thanks to the efforts of Kristy and Sarah Newton.
However, the reigning premier wasn't about to let this one slip and they recovered the lead through the hard work of Amanda Coote and Rebecca Duryea and held on to win 44-42.
MOYHU'S new courts were officially opened on Saturday and the Hoppers provided the perfect ending to the day with a comfortable 15-goal win over Bonnie Doon.
The Hoppers were always in control against the Doon Dogs, extending their lead at every change to win 44-29.
Claire Sutton, Steph Hogan and Chaye Crimmins were the home side's best while Chantal Lindsey and Meaghan Tanner tried hard for the Doon Dogs.
Meanwhile, King Valley warmed up for the finals with a 43-goal win over Glenrowan.
The Roos were never going to be in danger of losing the game after they produced a 22-goal first quarter, which saw them up by 15 goals.
There was nothing stopping Amber Vincent and Grace Patterson as they continually sent the ball into the Roos' shooting circle.
Once there Jessica Russell (42 goals) and Catherine Satori (27) added the finishing touches as the Roos went on to win 69-26.
Swanpool beat Bright by 26 goals, Tarrawingee accounted for Benalla and Goorambat beat North Wangaratta 55-17.
