BRIGHT farewelled two club legends at Pioneer Park on Saturday.
Anthony Foubister and Peter Jones played their final games for the Mountain Men in the seniors and reserves respectively, after selfless seasons.
On the field the club finished the year with victories in all three grades.
The senior side handed out a 178 point belting to Swanpool.
The Mountain Men's defence restricted the visitors to just three behinds for the day, while up forward Scott Chalwell and Ricky Weimer stole the show, kicking 15 goals between them.
In a brilliant team performance the Bright players finished what had been a tough year in style.
Daniel Robinson led the way in the middle of the ground with a best on ground performance and Kyle Arter, Anthony Rowe and Sean McGregor teamed up well in the back half to give the side plenty of run.
The Mountain Men had an even spread of goal kickers, with Chris Healy, Foubister and Cade Nightingale all chipping in with goals.
THE reserves turned around their disappointing year to finish the season with two wins in a row.
Tracy Culhane's side got off to a slow start, but pegged their way back into the match after quarter time and dominated the remainder of play.
Contenders for the best and fairest Dan Bryant and Jake Denison were again the best players for the side in the 42-point victory.
In attack Josh Grundy was prominent, kicking three goals, while Pete Ricardi showed he hadn't lost anything, slotting through two majors.
The likes of Michael Bunn, Jake Pronk, Culhane and Jones were also among the best players.
THE Alpine Eagles warmed up for their finals campaign with an impressive 169 point thrashing of Bonnie Doon.
A number of players hit the scoreboard in the victory with youngsters James Tabener and Mitch Dalbosco kicking four apiece.
Established players Jason Higgs, Jack Fraser and Nathan Jones kicked four as well.
The Eagles face Tarrawingee this week in the second qualifying final, and will be looking to continue on with their solid form of late.
