KING Valley will head into the Ovens and King Football League's semi finals on a high after downing Greta by 45 points on yesterday.
In ideal conditions at the Benalla Showgrounds, King Valley dominated the Blues in the first half, piling on 12 goals to five.
Brendan Sessions had his first goal on the board inside the opening minute of the match, taking his season tally to 99.
While Trent Whitecross and Daniel McLaughlin snared majors to put the Blues ahead, the Roos hit back hard, with Ben Primmer converting from a smart mark before Sessions brought up his ton at the 15-minute mark.
Sessions had his third when a Greta defender kicked the ball across the face of goals and into his waiting arms, before ruckman Simon Hunter gave the Roos a 26-point buffer with a checkside shot Steve Johnson would have been proud of.
While Brent Nichols reduced the margin to 20 points just before quarter time, the Roos' weren't done yet.
Sessions slotted his fourth goal inside the first minute of the second quarter, and Evan Laverty followed up barely 30 seconds later by nailing a shot from the goal square after receiving a 50m penalty.
When Hunter put his second major on the board the Roos were up by 38 points in a match that had been running less than 40 minutes.
