MOYHU and Tarrawingee failed to name their final 21 last night with both unwilling to give their opponent any early news on who would be playing in tomorrow's Ovens and King grand final at the WJ Findlay Oval.
While the Hoppers' only concern, Chris Thewlis, is expected to play despite a shoulder problem, the Bulldogs are likely to give injured pair Joel O'Keeffe and Kyle Simpson up until the last minute to prove their fitness.
Tarrawingee coach Finton Eames said O'Keeffe was crucial to the side's defensive structure and was hoping he could recover in time after suffering a hamstring injury last week.
"We will give Joel up until the last minute to get up," he said.
"He is an extremely important player to our defence.
"But if he misses out we've got players there who can replace him."
Eames also said Simpson could play forward in a surprise move, however, if he wasn't right then he wouldn't be playing with an ankle injury.
"We've toyed with the idea of playing Kyle as a forward," Eames said.
"He played that role in the elimination final and did a great job.
"But at the end of the day if he isn't fit we won't play him."
