MOYHU'S newest supporter, Larni Gorman, has perfect timing.
The daughter of Hoppers' player Nathan Gorman and his wife Stacey was born at Northeast Health Wangaratta on Tuesday evening, just four days before Nathan runs out to play in the Ovens and King football grand final.
"We didn't think she'd quite make it here by Saturday," said Nathan.
Stacey was due to give birth to the couple's first child last Saturday, but Nathan managed to keep his focus as one of Moyhu's best players in the preliminary final win against Benalla.
He said making a decision between playing in a grand final and being with his daughter for the birth would have been difficult, and he is happy he can now focus on playing footy.
"Better now than Friday night," he said.
"Footy would have been the last thing on my mind I'd say."
Larni already has a green and gold top, with her father's number 19, ready to be on the sidelines for the big game tomorrow.
