ANYONE hoping Moyhu would slip off the pace following its stunning grand final victory over Tarrawingee is set to be disappointed, with the Hoppers already building for a repeat performance in 2012.
Coach John McNamara celebrated the premiership as whole-heartedly as anyone at the club, but has since been on a mission to ensure the Hoppers have every chance of going back to back.
McNamara has re-signed Moyhu's version of the Fab Four, with Nathan Waite, Jaimon McGeehan, Ryan Craig and Jeremy Wilson all turning down offers from other clubs in order to don the green and gold once again.
McNamara said retaining players was becoming every bit as big a task as recruiting them, but he was rapt to have the pivotal quartet on board.
"It is a big job," McNamara said.
"Your entire focus is on playing and winning right up until grand final day, and then you want to let your hair down and enjoy it.
