GLENROWAN has come to the aid of Brendan Fevola, paving the way for the former AFL star to line-up for Ovens and Murray club Yarrawonga in its Easter Sunday blockbuster.
Fevola will play for Yarrawonga this season but must serve a one-game suspension before he can make his Pigeons debut.
The two-time Coleman Medallist has been cleared from Narre Warren to Glenrowan where he will serve his one-match ban as the Tigers play Tatong in tomorrow's season opener.
Fevola will then be issued with a one-game permit to play in the Pigeons' Easter clash with Lavington.
Under VCFL rules Fevola must remain a listed player with Glenrowan for 28 days, however, the Tigers will then clear him to Yarrawonga meaning he won't play a game for the Tigers.
