A TWELVE goal haul to recruit Richard Findlay was the catalyst for a massive win by North Wangaratta over Swanpool on Saturday, with the Hawks getting up by 149 points.
Findlay, playing his first game in two years, dominated in attack, but he had plenty of support from Daniel Vihm and Matt Smith, who kicked six majors each.
Coach David Steer was rapt with the performance of his forwards, and said Findlay had a number of strings to his bow.
"Rich has come over from Sorrento he's done the whole pre-season and been great," Steer said.
"He's 6'6" (198cm) and very athletic, so he has a licence to play deep or come up the ground a bit.
