OVENS and King netball defender Jenna McLeod doesn't expect fatigue will be an issue in tomorrow's netball interleague tri-series against Picola and Kyabram at Barooga.
The Moyhu skipper, who has enjoyed a stunning start to the season, is expected to line up in defence for the OandK and believes tomorrow's two-game format won't have too much of an effect on the side.
"I'm sure most of the girls would have played a round robin concept at some point in their career," she said.
"It's not that much different.
"Two games is strenuous on most people but I think we're getting some cooler weather, which will help.
"So I don't think it will be the fittest team that gets the win, it will be the team that can adapt quickest to the conditions."
The Ovens and King named a squad of 12 at the start of the week and coach Kim Graetz said she was absolutely delighted with the quality at her disposal.
McLeod agreed with Graetz's comments and said while most players hadn't played with each other before, the side was already coming together nicely.
"Training has been really good," she said.
"All the girls are excited about doing the best for our league.
"There are already some nice little relationships that have been developed so everything is going well."
And while she knows nothing about the Ovens and King's two opponents, McLeod admitted they would be tough to beat.
"I don't know anything about the other teams," she said.
"I'd assume they'd bring experienced teams."
