TWO of Bright's best young netballers were honored on Sunday night, taking out trophies at the Ovens and King's awards ceremony.
Under 17 C grade stars Bek Lebish and Gillian Deed have led Bright to second place on the ladder at the close of the home and away season.
Lebish, rated as one of the competition's best defenders and a member of the OandK's under 17 interleague side, took out the league's Most Valuable Player trophy, voted on by the coaches.
Lebish was rapt to win the award.
"I've had a good season, and I think our team has done really well this year," Lebish said.
"So to win this award is great.
"It's a big surprise."
