With no AFL football on offer, thousands will flock to WorkSafe AFL Victoria Country games and games in local metrolpolitian leagues to add a dose of local football to their Easter breaks.
Those spending the day in Melbourne can St Albans play Hoppers Crossing in St Albans or travel to Stathmore for the clash between Strathmore and Keilor.
In Victoria’s north along the Murray River there is a wealth of options with several leagues in action.
The Murray league has four fixtures on Good Friday with games at Tocumwal, Deniliquin, Moama and Nathalia.
Ovens and King league action will be at Bonnie Doon and Moyhu, while games at Bendigo and Rye on the Mornington peninsula are expected to draw big crowds.
Two night matches are also on offer in the Goulburn Valley League with Shepparton taking on Shepparton United at Deakin Reserve and Euroa set to meet Benalla at Euroa.
Lavington and Albury will also clash under lights in the Ovens and Murray League with all games set for a 7pm kick off.
Those heading to the southwest can watch Merrivale and Old Collegians going head-to-head in the Warrnambool and District league.
