The Reserves taking to the field with a number of changes to take on the undefeated Magpies who stamped their authority on the game with six goals to one in each of the first two quarter. The visitors added another fourteen goals to one after half time to show a clean pair of heels whilst the Rebels maintained their effort until the final siren, Alexandra 3.2 – 20 to Belgrave 26.18 – 174.

The Seniors faced another top five team and Finals contender with one change from last week and then two late withdrawals due to the flu, Michael Coombs also doubling up after a game in the reserves. The Rebels managed two unanswered goals in the first quarter before adding three goals to two in the second quarter, a tight and entertaining contest. The second half opened up and the Rebels controlled the game kicking seven goals to one in each of the two quarters, a great team effort across the ground with everyone getting involved, Alexandra 19.13 – 127 to Belgrave 4.7 – 31.
